BNC video konektor ShiverPeaks 98801-1 — spájkovateľný a skrutkovateľný

BNC video connector ShiverPeaks 98801-1 is a solderable and screwable BNC male plug designed for terminating coaxial cables used in analog and digital video systems. The connector provides a standard bayonet lock for reliable mechanical coupling and is intended for installations, repairs and custom cable assemblies in surveillance, broadcast and AV applications. Fitting requires either soldering the center conductor or securing it with the integrated screw, depending on installer preference and cable type.

Advantages

The connector combines solder and screw termination options to accommodate different installation workflows and cable preparations. Its metal housing ensures stable shielding and mechanical durability while the BNC bayonet coupling offers quick, vibration-resistant connections. The design supports consistent impedance matching for coaxial video transmission and is compatible with standard BNC female sockets used across CCTV, studio and professional AV equipment.

Suitable for

• Surveillance camera cable terminations and repairs
• Studio and broadcast signal cabling for analog or SDI video
• Custom coaxial cable assemblies and on-site fittings
• Audio-visual installations requiring standard BNC connections

Key specifications

• Connector type: BNC male plug with bayonet coupling
• Termination options: solderable center conductor or screw fastening
• Material: metal housing for shielding and mechanical strength
• Application: coaxial cable terminations for video signals (analog and digital)
• Compatibility: fits standard BNC female sockets used in CCTV, broadcast and AV gear

How to use

Prepare the coaxial cable by stripping outer jacket and shielding to expose the centre conductor and dielectric according to the connector's required dimensions. If soldering, position the centre conductor into the pin and solder a secure joint before assembling the housing and engaging the bayonet. If using the screw option, insert the conductor into the centre terminal and tighten the fastening screw to secure the connection, then assemble the outer parts and lock the bayonet. Ensure continuity and shielding integrity after assembly and test the video signal for correct operation.

Recommendations

Choose solder termination for the most reliable electrical contact on permanently installed runs; use the screw option for field repairs or when working with pre-prepared conductors. Always verify impedance continuity and inspect the shielding contact to minimize signal reflections and losses in video applications.
