BNC video konektor ShiverPeaks 98801 — skrutkovací koaxiálny konektor

The ShiverPeaks 98801 screwable BNC video connector is a threaded coaxial termination designed for analogue video and CCTV systems. It provides a mechanical, screw-on interface for attaching compatible RG-series coaxial cables to cameras, monitors, DVRs and other video equipment. The connector is intended for field assembly where a robust, vibration-resistant connection is required and where a screw-type BNC termination is preferred over push-fit designs.

Advantages

This screwable BNC connector offers a secure threaded coupling that reduces accidental disconnection and improves mechanical stability in installations exposed to movement or vibration. The design supports standard analogue video signal transmission with reliable electrical contact and straightforward assembly on compatible coaxial cable types. Its form factor keeps signal path length minimal and maintains impedance continuity when properly installed.

Suitable for

• Analogue CCTV camera connections
• Field assembly of RG-series coaxial video cables
• Temporary or permanent video links to monitors and DVRs
• Environments where threaded, vibration-resistant connectors are required

Key specifications

• Connector type: BNC screw-on (male)
• Application: Analogue video / CCTV
• Cable compatibility: RG-series coaxial cables (field-assembled)
• Contact: Mechanical threaded coupling for improved retention
• Signal: Standard 75 Ω analogue video transmission

How to use

Prepare the coaxial cable by stripping the outer jacket, braid and dielectric to the appropriate lengths for the connector design. Slide any ferrule or sleeve onto the cable if required by the connector type, then insert the cable center conductor into the BNC pin and push the body over the cable until the dielectric seats correctly. Engage the threaded coupling and hand-tighten, then secure with a suitable small tool if specified by the connector instructions. Verify continuity and impedance where necessary to ensure correct video signal transmission.

Recommendations

For consistent signal quality, use with properly matched 75 Ω RG coaxial cables, avoid over-tightening the screw coupling to prevent mechanical damage, and perform a continuity check after assembly. Choose the screwable BNC variant when installations are subject to vibration or require higher retention compared with push-fit connectors.
