The Bosch Serie 2 SPI2IKS10E Dishwasher is a slimline semi-built-in appliance designed for kitchens where space is limited. With a 45 cm width, it accepts up to 9 place settings and operates at a measured noise level of 48 dB. The model offers five wash programs including Pre-wash, Intensive 70°C, Eco 50°C and Auto 45-65°C, and features a delayed start timer. Water consumption is 9.5 litres per cycle and the declared energy consumption is 78 kWh per 100 cycles; the unit is rated in energy efficiency class F. Physical dimensions include a depth of 573 mm, height of 815 mm and a standard power cord length of 1.75 m.

Advantages

The slimline form factor allows installation in narrower kitchen cabinets while still providing a full complement of wash programs for everyday needs. A noise level of 48 dB makes operation reasonably quiet for open-plan or compact living spaces. The selection of program temperatures, including a high-temperature Intensive 70°C and an Eco 50°C option, supports different cleaning needs and energy-aware washing. A delayed start timer adds scheduling flexibility.

Suitable for

• Small households or couples with modest daily dish volumes
• Compact kitchens or semi-built-in installations where a 45 cm width is required
• Users who need a balance of program options including eco and intensive cycles
• Homes where quieter operation is preferred during daytime or evening use

How to use

Load the Bosch Serie 2 SPI2IKS10E by arranging plates, bowls and cutlery in the racks according to their size and soil level to ensure unobstructed spray paths. Select one of the five available programs—use Pre-wash for rinsing, Eco 50°C for standard energy-efficient cycles, Intensive 70°C for heavily soiled items, or Auto 45-65°C for mixed load detection—and set the delayed start timer if required. Use suitable dishwasher detergent and follow local recommendations for salt and rinse aid if applicable. After the cycle ends, allow a short cooling period before unloading to avoid handling hot items.

Recommendations

To maintain performance and hygiene, remove coarse food residues before loading and run regular maintenance cycles with appropriate dishwasher cleaner. Choose the Eco 50°C program for routine loads to reduce water and energy use; select Intensive 70°C when dealing with baked-on food. Ensure the appliance is installed in accordance with Bosch installation instructions for semi-built-in units and connected to suitable household supplies.
