Digitus vorkonfektioniertes Glasfaser-Universal-Breakoutkabel Multimode OM4 8 Fasern LC/UPC 50 m

The Digitus Pre-assembled Fiberglass Universal Breakout Cable Multi Mode OM4 8 Fibers LC/UPC 50m is a ready-to-use fiber optic breakout cable designed for high-bandwidth network routes. It contains eight multimode OM4 fibers with LC/UPC factory-mounted connectors and a 50 m length, providing reliable high-speed data transmission for indoor and outdoor installations. The cable’s robust construction and individually mechanically protected fibers make it suitable where enhanced mechanical protection and immediate plug-and-play connectivity are required.

Advantages

Pre-assembled with high-quality LC/UPC plugs, this breakout cable is ready for immediate use without additional splicing. Standard lengths are available from stock and each cable uses high-quality components and construction for long-term reliability. The design allows connection of network cabinets without potential differences and includes a two-sided insertion tool for secure installation. A measurement report delivered with the cable eliminates the need for time-consuming follow-up inspection.

Suitable for

• High-density data centers and server rooms
• Patch panels and partially equipped rack installations
• Indoor and protected outdoor fiber runs
• Connections requiring robust mechanical protection

How to use

Route the pre-assembled breakout cable to the required network cabinets or patch panels and insert the LC/UPC connectors into the corresponding ports. Use the included two-sided insertion tool for secure installation and ensure that cable bends respect the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius. No additional splicing is required thanks to the factory-mounted connectors. Verify connections using the supplied measurement report or by performing a brief optical test after installation.

Recommendations

Store and install the cable in dry conditions when possible, avoid sharp bends or tensile stress on the breakout fibers, and follow standard fiber handling precautions. Use the measurement report to confirm performance and keep the cable length, connector type (LC/UPC) and OM4 specification matched to your network equipment for optimal results.
