DRAKA vonkajší optický kábel A-DQ(ZN)B2Y 12G50/125 OM3 PE 3kN 12 vlákien

Outdoor fiber optic installations demand cables that withstand harsh environmental conditions while maintaining signal integrity. The DRAKA A-DQ(ZN)B2Y 12G50/125 OM3 cable solves this by combining a rugged polyethylene sheath, non-metallic rodent protection, and dry water-blocking technology in a lightweight, easy-to-handle design. With 12 multimode OM3 fibers, it delivers high bandwidth for backbone and campus networks, supporting 10G Ethernet up to 300 meters and 40G/100G with MPO connectivity.

Who is it for

Network installers, system integrators, and enterprise IT teams deploying outdoor fiber backbones, campus links, or industrial networks. Ideal for direct burial, ducts, or aerial lashing where durability and performance are critical.

Main features

• 12 multimode OM3 fibers (50/125 µm) with low attenuation and high modal bandwidth.
• Loose tube construction (A-DQ(ZN)B2Y) with dry water-blocking for quick, clean splicing.
• Polyethylene (PE) outer sheath provides excellent UV, moisture, and abrasion resistance.
• Non-metallic rodent protection using glass yarns—no grounding required, immune to lightning.
• High tensile strength (3 kN) and crush resistance (1000 N/10cm) for demanding installations.
• Wide operating temperature range (-20°C to +70°C) for diverse climates.

Tips

For best results, use OM3-compatible connectors and transceivers to maximize bandwidth. When pulling through ducts, adhere to the minimum bending radius to avoid microbending losses. Store in a dry, cool place before installation; the dry water-blocking design allows for immediate termination without messy gel cleanup.
