Externý pevný disk Silicon Power 2 TB USB Type-A 2.0/3.2 Gen 1 Armor A85B

The Silicon Power Armor A85B is a 2TB external hard drive with USB Type-A 2.0/3.2 Gen 1 connectivity, designed for robust portable storage. Its triple-layer construction combines a sturdy internal suspension system, a seamless rubber cover and a durable aluminum casing to provide high resistance to pressure and impact. The drive includes an integrated cable-carry band and an IP68-rated sealed enclosure for dust and water protection.

Advantages

The Armor A85B offers military-grade shockproof protection up to 3 m and pressure resistance up to 500 kg, reducing the risk of data loss from drops, bumps or compression. Its IP68 sealing prevents dust ingress and allows temporary immersion in water up to 1 m. Built-in cable storage keeps the USB cable with the drive, and the USB 3.2 Gen 1 interface delivers faster read/write performance compared with USB 2.0 for quicker file transfers.

Suitable for

• Backing up large files and system or media libraries
• Transporting photos, videos and project files between locations
• Field work and outdoor use where dust, moisture or shocks are a concern
• Everyday portable storage and file sharing across computers

How to use

Connect the Armor A85B to a computer using the included USB Type-A cable. For fastest transfers, use a USB 3.2 Gen 1 port on your computer; the drive is backward compatible with USB 2.0 ports at lower speeds. The drive is plug-and-play on most operating systems; follow any on-screen prompts to install drivers if required. Store the cable in the built-in band when transporting the drive and avoid prolonged immersion beyond IP68 limits.

Recommendations

Use the Armor A85B for routine backups and transporting large media files. Keep the drive sealed and the cable secured in its band during outdoor use. Although the drive is rugged and IP68-rated, avoid extended submersion and rapid temperature changes to maintain long-term reliability.
