Rutenbeck Splice Box BasicLine 19" výsuvná — nástenná optická zváracá skrinka, model 2280302120

The Rutenbeck Splice Box BasicLine 19" Retractable is a wall-mount fiber splice enclosure engineered for neat routing and secure protection of optical fiber splices in 19" installation environments. The enclosure features a retractable front section that provides simple access to internal splice trays while keeping fibers organized and protected when closed. Its compact design is intended for installation in buildings, data cabinets or telecommunications rooms where space-efficient, accessible fiber management is required.

Advantages

This retractable splice enclosure offers controlled fiber bending radius management and clear separation of incoming and outgoing cables to reduce strain on splices. The retractable mechanism enables quick access to splice trays for maintenance without full disassembly, and internal routing guides support tidy fibre organization. The enclosure is built for wall-mount installation in 19" environments and provides dust protection and mechanical safeguarding of splices.

Key specifications

How to use

Mount the enclosure on a suitable wall or within a 19" rack space following local installation standards and ensure secure anchoring. Feed incoming and outgoing fiber cables through the designated cable entries, apply appropriate strain relief at the entry points and route fibers along the internal guides to preserve the minimum bending radius. Open the retractable front section to access the splice trays, perform splicing or tray arrangement, secure splices within the trays and close the enclosure to protect the fibers. Ensure labels and documentation are updated for future maintenance.

Recommendations

Use compatible splice trays and fiber management accessories to match the required splice capacity. Maintain the recommended bending radius for the fiber types in use and secure cables with proper strain-relief fittings. Schedule access for splicing and maintenance in controlled conditions to avoid dust ingress and mechanical stress on installed splices.
