Filtračný kávovar Severin 8 šálok KA 4814

The Severin 8 cups KA 4814 is a semi-automatic drip coffee maker with an integrated grinder, designed to brew fresh filter coffee from whole beans or pre-ground coffee. Combining a compact footprint with a stainless steel and black finish, this machine offers practical features such as an LED display and a grind-and-brew workflow for daily home use. With a capacity suitable for up to eight cups and a 1000 W heating system, the unit balances brewing speed and extraction for consistent filter-style coffee.

Advantages

Equipped with a built-in grinder, the Severin KA 4814 allows grinding beans immediately before brewing to preserve aroma and flavor. The semi-automatic operation simplifies the process: choose whole beans or ground coffee, set basic parameters on the LED display, and start brewing. Its stainless steel elements improve durability and heat retention, while the 8-cup capacity meets the needs of small households or office kitchens. The combination of grinder and drip brewer reduces the need for separate appliances, saving counter space.

Clean the filter holder and carafe after each use and empty the grounds container when necessary to maintain performance.

Recommendations

Use medium-roast beans and adjust grind fineness to match the drip filter: a medium grind generally gives balanced extraction. Descale the water circuit periodically according to water hardness and manufacturer guidance, and only use the recommended cleaning procedures to prolong the life of the grinder and heating elements.
