Firewire kábel ShiverPeaks AK FW 9P-9P 3,0 m — 9-pólový IEEE 1394, 3,0 m dĺžka

ShiverPeaks AK FW 9P-9P 3.0m is a 3.0 metre FireWire cable with straight 9-pin (IEEE 1394b) connectors on both ends. It is designed to establish a point-to-point high-speed serial link between devices that use 9P FireWire ports, providing up to the performance class associated with IEEE 1394b implementations for audio interfaces, camcorders, external storage and other compatible equipment. The 3.0 m length offers flexibility for studio racks, desktop workstations and home recording or video transfer setups where a longer reach is required without signal chaining.

Advantages

The cable features straight 9P-9P wiring for direct device-to-device connections and is built to support reliable data transfer rates typical for FireWire 800/1394b setups. Its 3.0 m length reduces the need for intermediate extension adapters and allows comfortable placement of peripheral equipment. The ShiverPeaks design emphasises a balance of flexibility and connector stability to suit repeated plug/unplug cycles common in professional and home studio use.

Suitable for

• Connecting audio interfaces to computers or mixers using 9-pin FireWire ports
• Linking FireWire 9P camcorders to capture or transfer devices
• Attaching external FireWire hard drives to workstations for media editing and backup
• Studio and home recording setups requiring reliable 9P-to-9P cabling up to 3.0 m

Key specifications

• Connector type: 9-pin IEEE 1394b (FireWire) male — both ends
• Cable length: 3.0 m
• Wiring: straight 9P-9P point-to-point configuration
• Intended throughput class: compatible with FireWire 800/1394b performance levels
• Application: high-speed serial data transfer for audio, video and storage devices

How to use

Connect one 9-pin connector to the FireWire port of the source device (for example an audio interface, camcorder or external drive) and the other 9-pin connector to the target device such as a computer or recorder. Ensure both devices are powered and that drivers or host software are installed and configured as required. Avoid excessive bending near the connector ends and route the cable to prevent strain on ports. For best results, use a single straight 3.0 m run rather than chaining multiple cables or adapters.

Recommendations

For stable transfers, verify compatibility of connected devices with 9-pin IEEE 1394b signaling and set host software to the appropriate transfer mode. When using in a fixed studio environment, secure cable routing with non-abrasive ties and maintain gentle curves to prolong connector and cable life.
