Glasfaser-Patchkabel Digitus OM3 LC/LC 10m

Digitus Fiber Optic Patch Cord OM3 LC/LC 10m is a multimode duplex cable engineered for reliable high-speed data transmission. With a 50/125 µm core and OM3 specification, this 10-metre LC to LC patch cord supports demanding network and multimedia applications while maintaining signal integrity across connections.

Advantages

The OM3 multimode fiber delivers improved bandwidth and reduced modal dispersion compared with lower OM grades, supporting higher data rates over short to medium distances. LC connectors on both ends provide a compact, secure plug-and-play interface compatible with standard LC ports. The duplex configuration enables simultaneous transmit and receive channels for full-duplex communication.

Suitable for

• Data center interconnects and server links
• Gigabit and 10 Gigabit Ethernet networks
• Multimedia transmission and AV installations
• Patch panels and network equipment with LC ports

How to use

Inspect connectors and cable for visible damage before installation. Align each LC connector with the corresponding LC socket and insert until it clicks to ensure a secure connection. Use the duplex clip or keying to maintain correct polarity (Tx/Rx). Route the cable following standard fiber management practices to avoid sharp bends and excessive stress; maintain the minimum bend radius specified by the equipment manufacturer.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this OM3 LC/LC patch cord in short- to medium-range links and avoid tight bends or compressive forces. Keep dust caps on connectors when not in use and clean end-faces with approved fiber cleaning tools to reduce insertion loss.
