Sieťový kábel Wentronic 66719 Cat8.1 S/FTP 0,25 m čierny

The Wentronic 66719 Cat8.1 S/FTP networking cable is a short high-performance patch cable designed for point-to-point connections in high-speed networks. At 0.25 m length and finished in black, it uses the Cat8.1 standard and S/FTP (S-STP) shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and maintain signal integrity. Both ends are fitted with RJ-45 connectors for compatibility with standard Ethernet ports, making this cable suitable for connecting switches, patch panels, routers and network appliances where a compact, shielded connection is required.

Advantages

This Cat8.1 cable offers S/FTP shielding that provides improved protection against crosstalk and external interference compared with unshielded cables. The short 0.25 m length minimises latency and signal loss for close-proximity connections and helps keep installations tidy. RJ-45 terminations ensure broad compatibility with existing Ethernet equipment, and the black jacket gives a neutral, professional appearance for rack and desktop environments.

Suitable for

• Short patch connections between network devices in racks and within cabinets
• Connecting network switches to patch panels or routers in data closets
• High-speed Ethernet links where shielded cable is required to reduce interference

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat8.1
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individually shielded pairs)
• Length: 0.25 m
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends
• Colour: Black

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding Ethernet port on your devices until the connector latch clicks. Use the 0.25 m length for direct, short-range connections inside racks, between closely positioned equipment, or to reduce cable clutter behind desks. Avoid sharp bends and excessive force on the connectors; route the cable so the shielding remains intact and connectors are accessible for maintenance.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat8.1 S/FTP cable in environments where shielding is beneficial, such as near power distribution or high-frequency equipment. Ensure both connected ports support the desired network speed and that connectors are fully seated. For longer runs, select appropriately rated cables to preserve signal characteristics.
