GoodConnections Alcasa 40m Cat6 S/FTP sieťový patch kábel RJ-45 konektor samec na samec purpurový 8060-400M

In a busy office where every second counts, a network engineer runs a 40-metre link from the server room to a workstation cluster. The GoodConnections Alcasa 40m Cat6 S/FTP cable delivers a rock-solid 10 Gbps connection with full shielding against electromagnetic interference. Its magenta jacket makes it easy to trace among dozens of grey cables, and the snagless RJ-45 connectors survive countless plug/unplug cycles.

Why choose it

This cable goes beyond basic Cat6 requirements. The S/FTP construction means each twisted pair is individually foil-shielded, and the entire bundle is wrapped in a braided screen. That double layer blocks alien crosstalk and external noise, ensuring clean signals even in cable-dense environments. The robust PVC jacket resists abrasion and bending, while the moulded strain relief protects the connectors from damage. With a length of 40 metres, it bridges distant devices without signal loss, making it a reliable choice for professional installations.

Ideal use cases

• Connecting servers to switches in data centres
• Linking network-attached storage (NAS) devices
• Extending LAN connections between floors or rooms
• Setting up high-speed workstations in offices
• Supporting 10GBASE-T networks up to 55 metres

Good to know

The cable is backward compatible with older Ethernet standards, so it works seamlessly with existing 1 Gbps equipment. The magenta colour aids in cable management and identification. For optimal performance, avoid sharp bends and keep the cable away from high-power electrical lines. This product is part of the GoodConnections Alcasa series, known for reliable connectivity solutions.
