Sieťový kábel Alcasa 2 m Cat6 RJ-45 S/FTP sivý

The Networking Cable Alcasa 2m Cat6 RJ-45 S/FTP Grey is a Cat6-rated Ethernet patch cable designed for reliable wired network connections. It uses S/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and features RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts for improved conductivity and corrosion resistance. The 2 m length provides flexibility for connecting devices across office desks, home entertainment setups, or network equipment racks while the grey jacket offers a neutral, unobtrusive appearance.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding (overall foil plus individually shielded pairs) enhances signal integrity in environments with potential interference from nearby electrical equipment. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts improve contact reliability and reduce oxidation over time. The Cat6 specification supports higher frequencies and improved performance compared with older cable categories, making it suitable for gigabit Ethernet and many high-speed local area network applications. The 2 m length balances reach and cable management for typical short to medium runs.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs, laptops and switches in home and office networks
• Linking routers to networked devices such as printers and NAS units
• Fixed connections in AV installations, media players and set-top boxes
• Temporary test and diagnostic links in IT maintenance and rack setups

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil with individually shielded pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Contact plating: Gold-plated contacts
• Length: 2 m
• Color: Grey

How to use

Ensure both network devices are powered off or set to a safe state if required by your environment. Plug one RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of the source device (for example a router or switch) and the other connector into the destination device (for example a PC or NAS). Verify the link LEDs on the devices indicate an active connection and check network settings if no connectivity is detected. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and keep it separated from high-voltage power wiring where possible to maintain shielding effectiveness.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid running the S/FTP cable parallel and in close proximity to unshielded power lines or large electrical equipment. Use appropriate cable management such as clips or trays to prevent excessive bending; maintain the minimum bend radius recommended for Cat6 cabling. When installing in permanent or commercial setups, test end-to-end performance with a network tester to confirm gigabit link speeds and correct pair termination.
