Sieťový kábel Alcasa 2 m Cat6 S/FTP žltý

The Alcasa 2m Cat6 S/FTP Yellow networking cable by Good Connections is a 2 m Ethernet patch cable designed for reliable high-speed data transmission in home and office networks. Constructed to Cat6 specifications with S/FTP shielding and RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts, the cable reduces electromagnetic interference and maintains signal integrity over short to medium runs. The yellow jacket makes the cable easy to identify in patch panels, cable trays or behind workstations.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding (overall braid plus individually foiled pairs) provides enhanced protection against crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference, supporting stable Gigabit connections. Gold-plated contacts improve corrosion resistance and maintain consistent electrical contact. The 2 m length offers a balance between flexibility and reach for typical desktop, switch-to-wall or patch panel connections. The cable jacket in yellow aids visual organization and quick identification in multi-cable installations.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• Connecting desktop computers, laptops or printers to a network switch or wall outlet
• Patching between switches and patch panels in small office racks
• Home network connections for streaming, gaming and file transfer
• Temporary or permanent cabling where color-coded identification is required

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6 Ethernet cable
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braided shield with individually foiled pairs)
• Length: 2 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Contacts: Gold-plated contacts for improved conductivity and corrosion resistance
• Outer colour: Yellow

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to your device (computer, switch, router or wall socket) and the other RJ-45 plug to the corresponding network port. Ensure connectors click into place to confirm a secure physical connection. For best performance, avoid tight bends and excessive tension on the cable; maintain a gentle bend radius and keep the cable away from high-power electrical lines that can introduce interference. If used in rack or patch panel environments, route the cable neatly and label both ends if required for identification.

Recommendations

For stable Gigabit Ethernet performance, use this Cat6 S/FTP cable for runs within typical desktop and patch panel distances (2 m). Do not exceed recommended bend radius and keep the cable clear of strong sources of electromagnetic interference. Periodically inspect connectors for dust or damage and replace the cable if the jacket is cut or contacts become loose.
