Sieťový kábel Alcasa 50 m Cat7 RJ-45 magenta S/FTP (S-STP)

The Alcasa 50m Cat7 RJ-45 Magenta S/FTP (S-STP) networking cable provides a 50-metre single run of shielded high-performance copper cabling designed for demanding network environments. It features S/FTP shielding (individual foil around each pair plus an overall braided screen) and RJ-45 connectors on both ends, supporting 10GBase-T applications and stable high-speed data transmission for home and office networks. The cable’s magenta jacket offers a distinctive visual identifier for organised cable routing and quick recognition in multi-cable installations.

Advantages

S/FTP construction reduces crosstalk between pairs and limits external electromagnetic interference, improving signal integrity over long runs. The RJ-45 terminations ensure compatibility with standard network equipment and 10GBase-T switches and patch panels. A 50 m length covers typical room-to-room and floor-to-floor connections without the need for intermediate extenders. The coloured outer sheath simplifies identification during installation and maintenance.

Suitable for

• Structured cabling for small office and home office networks
• High-speed Ethernet links up to 10 Gigabit over copper
• Patch panels and wall outlets in server rooms and network closets
• Audio-visual systems and media streaming setups requiring reliable wired connections

Key specifications

• Length: 50 m
• Cabling standard: Cat7
• Shielding: S/FTP (individual foil per pair + braided overall shield)
• Connectors: RJ-45 — both ends terminated
• Rated application: 10GBase-T
• Outer colour: Magenta

How to use

Route the cable along the planned pathway, avoiding sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference such as large motors or unshielded power cables. Terminate both ends into RJ-45 outlets or patch panel ports, ensuring secure connector engagement. When connecting to switches, routers or network interface cards, verify link status and negotiate the desired speed on both devices. If cutting and re-terminating, follow standard termination practices for S/FTP cables to preserve shielding continuity and maintain performance.

Recommendations

For best performance, maintain bend radius recommendations (typically four times the cable diameter), keep cable runs under local code limits for horizontal wiring without active equipment, and avoid bundling with high-voltage power cables. Use shielded connectors and ensure the braided overall shield is properly grounded when integrating into shielded outlet systems.
