Sieťový kábel Alcasa 8060-005 RJ-45 Cat6 0,5 m sivý

The Alcasa 8060-005 RJ-45 Cat6 0.5 m Grey networking cable is a short patch cable designed for high-speed Ethernet connections. It follows the Cat6 specification and uses S/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference, while RJ-45 connectors on both ends provide standard compatibility with network devices and ports. The 0.5 m length is suitable for close-proximity connections where a compact, reliable link is needed.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding improves signal integrity by protecting individual pairs and the overall cable core from external noise. The Cat6 standard supports higher bandwidth and reduced crosstalk compared with older cable categories, enabling stable data transfer for typical network applications. RJ-45 terminations ensure plug-and-play compatibility with switches, routers, patch panels and network interface cards. The grey jacket provides a neutral appearance that integrates easily into home and office environments.

Suitable for

• Short patch connections between wall outlets and switches or routers
• Connecting network devices in crowded racks or tight workstations
• Home networking setups where equipment is in close proximity
• Temporary or permanent links in office desk areas

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6
• Shielding: S/FTP (shielded foil with individually shielded pairs)
• Length: 0.5 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Colour: Grey

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network port of your switch, router, patch panel or device, and insert the other connector into the corresponding port at the opposite end. Ensure connectors click into place to confirm a secure connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and tight kinks; maintain gentle curves to preserve shielding and conductor integrity. For best performance, keep the cable separate from high-voltage power lines and sources of strong electromagnetic interference.

Recommendations

Use this 0.5 m Cat6 S/FTP cable for short-distance connections where a compact, shielded link is preferred. Avoid using the cable in environments requiring outdoor-rated or plenum-rated cabling. For longer runs or installations requiring additional fire or environmental protection, select appropriate cable types designed for those conditions.
