Sieťový kábel Alcasa 8080-050O 5 m Cat8.1 S/FTP oranžový

The Alcasa 8080-050O 5m Cat8.1 S/FTP Orange is a high-speed Ethernet patch cable designed for demanding network environments. This 5-metre cable features S/FTP shielding and RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts to help maintain signal integrity and reliable connections. It is specified to support data transfer rates up to 40,000 Mbit/s and is intended for use where low-interference, high-bandwidth links are required. The bright orange jacket improves cable visibility for easier identification and routing in racks and patch panels.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding provides improved protection against electromagnetic interference by combining an overall screen with individually shielded pairs, helping to preserve signal quality in congested or electrically noisy environments. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts promote secure mating and resist corrosion for consistent electrical contact over time. The 5 m length offers flexibility for connecting devices across racks, workstations, or network equipment without excessive slack.

Suitable for

• High-speed server and switch connections in data centres
• Workstation-to-patch-panel links in offices with high bandwidth demands
• Audio-visual installations and streaming applications requiring low latency
• Environments where cable identification and routing are important

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat8.1
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall screen with individually shielded pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Contacts: Gold-plated
• Maximum data transfer rate: up to 40,000 Mbit/s
• Cable length: 5 m
• Colour: Orange

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to your network device (for example a switch, router or network card) and the other end to the corresponding port on the connected device. Ensure both connectors are fully seated until the locking clip engages to maintain a stable connection. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference; use cable management hardware where available to secure and organize runs.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use the Alcasa 8080-050O within its 5 m length and avoid running the cable parallel to high-voltage power lines. When installing in racks or conduits, allow gentle bend radii and secure the cable to prevent strain on connectors. Verify compatibility of connected equipment with Cat8.1 performance levels to achieve expected transfer rates.
