Sieťový kábel Alcasa Cat. 6 S/FTP 5 m červený

The Alcasa Cat. 6 S/FTP 5m Red networking cable is a 5‑metre Category 6 patch cable with overall and pair shielding (S/FTP) designed for stable high‑speed Ethernet connections. It comes terminated with RJ‑45 plugs featuring gold‑plated contacts to reduce corrosion and improve signal transfer. The cable’s red jacket provides clear visual identification within structured cabling systems and home or office networks.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction combines an overall shield with individually shielded pairs to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, supporting consistent data throughput. Gold‑plated RJ‑45 connectors ensure reliable mating and contact conductivity over repeated insertions. The 5 m length accommodates typical desktop-to-switch and patch‑panel runs without excess slack in small to medium‑sized installations. The red jacket improves cable management and visual routing.

Suitable for

• Gigabit Ethernet and Ethernet networks up to Cat6 performance
• Patching between switches, routers and workstations in offices and data cabinets
• Home networks and small business networking where visual cable identification is beneficial
• Environments with potential electromagnetic interference from nearby equipment

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat 6
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid + individually shielded pairs)
• Length: 5 m
• Connectors: RJ‑45 to RJ‑45
• Connector contacts: gold plated
• Outer colour: Red

How to use

Connect one RJ‑45 end to your network device (switch, router or NIC) and the other end to the corresponding port on the destination device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch engages and verify link/activity LEDs on network equipment to confirm a successful physical connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and areas of heavy mechanical stress; maintain reasonable separation from mains power cables where possible.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat 6 S/FTP cable for links within the same room or between adjacent racks up to 5 m. Avoid tight bundling with power cables and keep bend radius above the manufacturer’s minimum (typically four times the cable diameter). For installations exposed to high EMI, pair shielding with proper termination and grounded patch panels to maximize interference rejection.
