Sieťový kábel Good Connections Alcasa 2 m Cat6 S/FTP s RJ-45 konektormi samec, modrý

The Networking Cable Alcasa 2m Cat6 S/FTP Blue is a 2 metre Ethernet patch cable designed for wired network connections that require Cat6 performance and enhanced shielding. Constructed with S/FTP (Shielded Foiled Twisted Pair) shielding and terminated with RJ-45 connectors featuring gold-plated contacts, this blue cable provides stable physical connections suitable for gigabit Ethernet and other high-speed data transfer applications in home and office environments.

Advantages

S/FTP construction reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk compared with unshielded alternatives, helping to maintain signal integrity over the cable length. Gold-plated contacts improve corrosion resistance and ensure consistent mating with RJ-45 ports. The 2 m length balances reach and cable management for typical desktop, patch panel, or wall outlet scenarios. The blue outer jacket provides simple visual identification in bundled installations.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs, laptops or network printers to switches or routers
• Patch connections between wall outlets and network equipment in offices or homes
• Gigabit Ethernet links and general LAN data transfer
• Temporary setups and test bench cabling where a short, shielded cable is required

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6
• Shielding type: S/FTP (overall braid with individually foiled pairs)
• Length: 2 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts
• Colour: blue outer jacket

How to use

Insert one RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of your network device and the other into the corresponding port on the switch, router or wall outlet. Ensure connectors click into place and that the cable is routed to avoid tight bends or compression which can degrade performance. For structured cabling, label both ends if required and leave service loops to facilitate future maintenance or reconfiguration.

Recommendations

Use the cable in environments where shielded cabling is beneficial, such as areas with nearby electrical equipment or dense cable bundles. Avoid running the cable parallel and close to high-voltage lines. For permanent installations in walls or conduits, verify local regulations and suitable cable ratings before use.
