Hama 00200669 sieťový kábel sivý 3 m Cat5e F/UTP (FTP)

The Hama 00200669 networking cable is a 3 m Cat5e F/UTP (FTP) cable with RJ-45 connectors on both ends, designed for structured cabling and device interconnection. It supports data transfer rates up to 1000 Mbit/s and is compatible with 10/100/1000Base-T(X) networks. The grey outer jacket provides a neutral appearance suited to office and home environments while the foil shielding reduces electromagnetic interference for more stable signal transmission.

Advantages

This Cat5e F/UTP cable provides gigabit-capable performance for everyday networking tasks while offering improved protection against external interference thanks to foil shielding. Standard RJ-45 terminations ensure broad compatibility with network switches, routers, modems, and network interface cards. The 3 m length balances reach and neat installation for desktop, rack or wall-mounted setups.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• Connecting PCs, laptops and network printers to switches or routers
• Wired connections for home and small office networks
• Patch cabling in network cabinets and wall outlets
• Temporary or permanent connections for IP cameras and VoIP phones

Key specifications

• Cable type: Cat5e F/UTP (FTP) — foil-shielded twisted pair
• Connectors: RJ-45 on both ends
• Maximum supported speed: up to 1000 Mbit/s (Gigabit Ethernet)
• Standard: compatible with 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Length: 3 m
• Colour: grey

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network port of your device and the other connector into the port of a switch, router or wall outlet. Ensure connectors are fully seated until a click is felt to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and keep it away from power cables or large electrical equipment to minimise interference. For permanent installations, use cable management accessories such as clips or cable ties to maintain a tidy run and reduce strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

For best performance, use this Cat5e F/UTP cable within its rated length and in environments where foil shielding will help reduce interference. Avoid running the cable parallel to mains power lines for long distances, and inspect terminations periodically in high-traffic installations. Choose Cat6 or higher if planning future upgrades requiring higher bandwidth or longer headroom.
