Hama sieťový kábel CAT-8 40 Gbit/s S/FTP tienený bezhalogénový 3 m

The Hama Networking Cable CAT-8 40 Gbit/s S/FTP Shielded Halogen-Free 3 m is a high-performance Ethernet cable designed for fast data transmission in wired LAN environments. Supporting speeds up to 40 Gbit/s, this CAT-8 cable uses S/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and maintain signal integrity over short distances. The halogen-free jacket reduces toxic gas emission in case of fire, while the 3 m length and black colour make it suitable for neat, visible or behind-desk connections in home and office setups.

Advantages

The cable delivers multi-gigabit throughput up to 40 Gbit/s and is built with S/FTP shielding to protect against crosstalk and external interference. Its halogen-free outer sheath enhances safety in enclosed spaces. The 3 m length balances reach and minimal signal loss for typical workstation-to-switch or switch-to-switch connections. The black finish offers discreet integration into most environments.

How to use

Connect one RJ45 connector to the network port of your switch, router or network interface card and the other end to the target device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to secure the connection. For optimum performance at multi-gigabit speeds, use with compatible CAT‑8 or high-category networking equipment and avoid excessive bending or kinking of the cable. Route the cable away from high-power electrical lines to minimize potential interference.

Recommendations

Use this CAT‑8 S/FTP cable for short-distance, high-bandwidth links in controlled indoor environments. Pair it with shielded network ports or grounded equipment where possible to make full use of its shielding. Do not expose the halogen-free jacket to sustained outdoor conditions or direct sunlight; store and install indoors at recommended temperatures and avoid sharp bends beyond the cable's bend radius.
