Hama UV filter 390 (O-Haze), 40,5 mm, vrstvený ultrafialový (UV) fotografický filter

Hama UV Filter 390 O-Haze 40.5 mm is a colour-neutral ultraviolet camera filter that reduces atmospheric haze and improves image clarity while protecting the lens surface from scratches, dust and finger-marks. It features a single anti-reflective coating on each side and meets the ProClass glass quality standard, delivering clear, sharp photos in both colour and black-and-white photography.

Advantages

The filter blocks UV rays up to 390 nm and filters haze to reduce unsharpness, helping to increase perceived contrast and colour saturation without introducing colour casts. Its normal coating on both sides reduces reflections and ghosting, and the ProClass glass provides reliable optical performance while physically protecting the front element of the lens.

Suitable for

• Outdoor landscape and travel photography
• Everyday lens protection against scratches, dust and fingerprints
• Black-and-white photography to reduce atmospheric veil
• Photographers using lenses with 40.5 mm filter thread

How to use

Screw the Hama UV Filter onto the lens front using the 40.5 mm filter thread. Ensure the filter is clean before attachment to avoid trapping dust or smudges between filter and lens. Use the filter on sunny or hazy days to reduce ultraviolet light and atmospheric veil; remove or clean the filter as needed when switching between shooting environments or when using other specialised filters.

Recommendations

Use the UV filter primarily for lens protection and to reduce atmospheric haze in outdoor photography. Clean the filter with a soft microfiber cloth and appropriate lens cleaner; avoid excessive force when screwing or unscrewing to protect the filter threads and the lens.
