The drive features blue LED lighting and a lightweight, portable design, allowing you to archive and carry a large library of games, applications, and media without deleting titles.

Advantages

The drive uses firmware matched to PlayStation consoles for plug-and-play compatibility with all PS5 and PS4 models and requires no tools or external power. High-speed USB 3.2 Gen 1 (USB 3.0) connectivity delivers full-speed transfer for quick game access. Blue LED lighting adds a visual accent that integrates with gaming setups.

Key specifications

• Capacity: 5 TB add-on storage
• Compatibility: All models of PS5 and PS4
• Interface: USB 3.2 Gen 1 (USB 3.0)
• Power: Bus-powered (no external power adapter required)
• Design: Portable, lightweight; blue LED lighting
• Usage: Stores and archives PS5 and PS4 games; PS5 games can be transferred to PS5 internal SSD when ready to play

How to use

Connect the Game Drive to a PS5 or PS4 via the USB port; the console will recognize the drive and guide you through any required formatting. Archive PS5 games to the drive to free internal SSD space, then transfer chosen titles back to the PS5 internal SSD when you want to play. For PS4 games, store and play directly from the external drive without moving the content to the console.

Recommendations

For best performance, connect the drive directly to a USB port on the console rather than through a hub. Keep backups of important save data to cloud storage or the console’s internal storage before reformatting or moving files.
