The ACT AK3877 is a 10 m HDMI 2.0 Premium High Speed cable with HDMI Type A male connectors on both ends. It supports up to 18 Gbit/s bandwidth and 4K (3840x2160) at 60 Hz, HDR video, HDCP 2.2, multi-channel audio formats including Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio, and Audio Return Channel (ARC). The cable features full copper conductors and gold-plated contacts for reliable signal transmission. Its Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) jacket reduces the release of toxic gases in the event of fire or cable damage, and thin plate shielding lowers RFI/EMI for use in sensitive environments.

Advantages

The ACT AK3877 delivers high-resolution video and multichannel audio with up to 18 Gbit/s throughput and 4K@60Hz support. Gold-plated contacts and full copper conductors improve contact reliability and signal integrity. The LSZH jacket enhances safety by limiting smoke and halogen emissions, while additional thin plate shielding reduces electromagnetic and radio-frequency interference for stable performance in demanding or sensitive installations.

How to use

Connect one HDMI Type A male end to the HDMI output of your source device (for example a Blu-ray player, set-top box, or media player) and plug the other HDMI Type A male end into the HDMI input of your display, AV receiver, or soundbar. Ensure both devices are powered on and set the display to the correct HDMI input. If audio return is required, enable ARC on both the TV and AV receiver according to their settings menus. Route the cable avoiding sharp bends and strong EMI sources where possible.

What to consider before purchase

Recommendations

For reliable 4K@60Hz video and high-definition multichannel audio, use the ACT AK3877 to connect source devices to displays or AV receivers. Avoid tightly coiling the cable and keep it away from strong RF sources to maintain signal integrity. Enable ARC in device settings if you intend to use audio return functionality.
