HP Pro Shredder 16MC skartovačka mikrostrih 55 dB 22 cm čierna

HP Pro Shredder 16MC is a micro-cut (P-5) paper shredder designed for secure destruction of confidential documents and payment cards. The unit processes up to 16 sheets in a single pass into 2×15 mm particles, accepts staples and paper clips, and includes automatic reversing to clear jams. With a 680 W motor and 220–240 V supply, it is intended for office environments that require a high level of document security. The dark grey cabinet houses a 30 L pull-out basket on castor wheels for convenient disposal and relocation.

Advantages

The micro-cut mechanism delivers P-5 security level shredding, reducing document fragments to small particles suitable for sensitive information disposal. The shredder supports credit card destruction and handles staples and paper clips without pre-removal. Built-in overheat protection and automatic reversing improve operational reliability, while silent operation and castor wheels make the device practical for shared office spaces. The 30 L basket minimizes bin changes, and the 680 W motor provides consistent performance for regular use.

Key specifications

How to use

Place the HP Pro Shredder 16MC on a flat, stable surface and ensure the power supply matches 220–240 V at 50 Hz. Slide the 30 L pull-out basket into position and switch the unit on. Feed paper stacks no larger than 16 sheets into the feed slot, aligning documents to avoid uneven feeding. Credit cards can be inserted individually for destruction. If a jam occurs, the automatic reverse function will help clear the obstruction; switch the unit off and inspect the cutters before continuing if necessary. Allow the motor to cool when overheat protection activates and follow the manufacturer’s instructions for maintenance and safe disposal of shredded material.

Recommendations

For reliable long-term operation, avoid continuous shredding beyond recommended duty cycles and allow cooling intervals when the overheat protection engages. Remove large amounts of adhesive labels or thick media before shredding, and empty the 30 L basket regularly to prevent overflow. Use the automatic reverse feature to clear occasional jams and keep the cutting blades free of large debris by following periodic maintenance guidance.
