HPE AP-505 (RW) Dual Radio 2x2:2 802.11ax access point R2H28-61001

The HPE AP-505 (RW) stands out with its dual-radio 2x2:2 MIMO architecture and Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) support, delivering up to 1.2 Gbps on 5 GHz and 574 Mbps on 2.4 GHz. This access point is engineered for high-density environments where reliable, high-throughput wireless connectivity is critical.

Highlights

• Dual-radio 2x2:2 MIMO for simultaneous 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz operation
• Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) with WPA3 security
• 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet uplink for high-speed wired backhaul
• Integrated Bluetooth 5.0 and Zigbee radios for IoT connectivity
• Flexible management: Aruba Central, AirWave, or Instant mode

In daily use

Deploy the AP-505 in offices, schools, or retail spaces to support bandwidth-intensive applications. Its 2x2:2 MIMO and 802.11ax features like OFDMA and MU-MIMO improve efficiency and capacity, while the 2.5GbE port prevents wired bottlenecks. Power it via PoE (802.3at) for simple installation on ceiling rails or walls.
