HPE MSA 2060 diskové pole 0 TB rack 2U strieborná čierna HDD SSD

The HPE MSA 2060 is a 2U rack disk array that supports up to 24 drives and accepts both HDD and SSD media, offering a flexible foundation for scalable storage in small to medium-sized businesses. It delivers up to 395,000 IOPS to accelerate applications and supports hybrid or all‑flash configurations that can be expanded as requirements grow. The chassis is a 2U rack unit available in silver and black and ships with no drives installed so you can choose the mix of SSDs, Enterprise SAS or MidLine SAS HDDs to meet performance and capacity needs.

Advantages

The HPE MSA 2060 provides high IOPS performance for application acceleration while allowing day‑one deployment of hybrid or flash configurations. Management is simplified by an intuitive Storage Management Utility and automated tiering that moves the hottest data to fastest media in real time. Built‑in data protection features include virtualized snapshots and remote replication over Fibre Channel or iSCSI. Encrypted HDDs and SSDs with local key management are supported to secure stored data. The modular 2U architecture supports up to nine expansion enclosures (ten total including the array) so capacity and performance can scale without replacing the array.

Suitable for

• Application acceleration for small and medium-sized businesses
• Hybrid or all‑flash storage deployments
• Consolidated file and block storage for mixed workloads
• Cost-conscious disaster recovery using remote replication (FC or iSCSI)
• Secure storage using encrypted HDDs/SSDs with local key management

How to use

Install the HPE MSA 2060 into a standard 2U rack space and populate drive bays with the desired mix of SSDs and/or HDDs according to performance and capacity requirements. Use the Storage Management Utility to configure arrays, set up automated tiering and enable snapshot or replication services. Configure network connectivity for hosts using supported protocols (FC or iSCSI) and, if required, enable local key management for encrypted drives. Add expansion enclosures as capacity needs increase, following HPE guidance for enclosure connections and power distribution.

Recommendations

For balanced performance and cost, combine SSDs for cache/hot data with Enterprise or MidLine SAS HDDs for capacity; enable automated tiering to ensure frequently accessed data is stored on faster media. For disaster recovery, configure remote replication over Fibre Channel or iSCSI and verify snapshot schedules and retention policies to meet RPO/RTO targets.
