InfiniBand/optický kábel ACT RL3950 50m SC žltý

The ACT RL3950 is a 50-meter InfiniBand/fibre optic cable with SC connectors on both ends and a durable yellow outer jacket. Engineered for environments that require sustained high data throughput and low latency, this cable supports long-distance optical transmission while maintaining signal integrity. Its single-mode construction and standard SC terminations make it compatible with a wide range of network equipment used in data centers, HPC clusters and telecommunications racks.

Advantages

The cable provides consistent high-speed performance with low insertion loss and minimal return loss, helping to preserve signal quality over a 50 m span. The yellow jacket offers high visibility for rack and conduit management and provides mechanical protection against abrasion and handling. SC connectors ensure reliable push-pull mating and ease of installation and replacement without special tools.

Suitable for

• Data center interconnects between switches, servers and storage arrays
• High-performance computing cluster links and InfiniBand interconnects
• Telecommunications and network distribution panels
• Patching in optical distribution frames and rack-mounted equipment

Key specifications

• Cable length: 50 m
• Connector type: SC to SC
• Jacket color: yellow
• Fiber type: single-mode (optical)
• Construction: durable outer jacket with reinforced inner fiber
• Transmission: optimized for low insertion loss and low return loss

How to use

Route the cable through cable trays or alongside rack rails to minimize bending and stress on the fiber. Insert each SC connector into the appropriate SC adapter or transceiver socket until it clicks into place, ensuring correct orientation. Avoid tight bends and secure the cable with velcro ties or cable management panels to prevent strain at the connector ends. When disconnecting, pull the connector housing rather than the cable jacket to reduce risk of damage.

Recommendations

Inspect connector endfaces before installation and clean with appropriate fibre-optic cleaning tools if contamination is present. Maintain bend radius greater than the manufacturer-recommended minimum, avoid step-on or pinch points, and store spare cable coiled loosely to prevent microbending. Use the yellow jacketed cable for easy identification in mixed-cable environments.
