InfiniBand/skrutkové optické vlákno kábel HPE JL487A 0,65 m SFP28 čierny

The HPE JL487A is a 0.65 m direct attach cable with SFP28 connectors on both ends, designed for 25 Gbps links in compatible Aruba and HP Enterprise equipment. The cable provides a short, reliable connection for high-speed ports where a fixed short-reach copper/fibre direct attach link is required. Its compact length and flexible jacket simplify routing in rack and chassis environments.

Advantages

The cable supports 25 Gbps data rates over SFP28 interfaces and uses a direct attach form factor for low-latency, short-reach connectivity. Its 0.65 m length reduces excess cable slack and improves airflow in dense installations. The black jacket offers a professional appearance while the durable construction ensures stable signal transmission and repeated insertion reliability.

Suitable for

• Connecting SFP28 ports between switches, servers, and storage in Aruba or HPE systems
• Short-reach interconnects in racks and network chassis
• High-density top-of-rack and spine/leaf deployments

Key specifications

• Connector type: SFP28 to SFP28
• Length: 0.65 m
• Supported data rate: up to 25 Gbps
• Color: Black
• Manufacturer part number (MPN): JL487A

How to use

Insert each SFP28 connector into the corresponding SFP28 port until it latches securely. Verify link status on connected devices and ensure both ends are properly seated. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical strain; maintain the 0.65 m routing to preserve performance. For hot-pluggable systems, power can remain on during insertion or removal if the system documentation permits.

Recommendations

Use this 0.65 m SFP28 direct attach cable for short, high-speed connections within racks or between adjacent equipment. Confirm compatibility with your Aruba or HPE device models and firmware before deployment, and avoid exceeding recommended bend radius to maintain signal integrity.
