InfiniBand/sklenené vlákno kábel BlueOptics BO353503J30M-BO 30 m SFP+ aqua

The BlueOptics BO353503J30M-BO is a 30 m InfiniBand / fibre optic active optical cable (AOC) with SFP+ to SFP+ connectors, designed for 10GBASE-SR multi-mode applications. Its aqua jacket and pre-assembled SFP+ modules provide a plug-and-play fibre connection for switches, routers, storage arrays and other network equipment that support SFP+ AOCs. The cable carries optical transmitters and receivers in the SFP+ housings and supports simultaneous send-and-receive operation over multimode fibre for short-reach 10 Gb/s links.

Advantages

The cable is built to MSA SFP+ form-factor standards and is compatible with major BlueOptics platforms that accept the original BO353503J30M AOC. As an active optical cable, it eliminates the need for separate transceivers and patch cords, reduces attenuation related to unmanaged connectors and is not susceptible to electromagnetic interference (EMI). The product is tested for interoperability and includes digital diagnostic monitoring (DDM/DOM) functionality where supported by host hardware, providing real-time information such as supply voltage, laser bias current, transmit power, receive power and temperature.

How to use

Ensure both network devices support SFP+ AOC modules and the desired 10G protocols. Power off or follow hot-swap procedures recommended by the equipment vendor before inserting or removing SFP+ connectors. Insert each SFP+ end into the corresponding SFP+ slot until it latches, verify link status in the host device and confirm DDM/DOM readings if monitoring is required. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and mechanical strain; the pre-assembled AOC design removes the need for separate patching or connector cleaning.

Recommendations

Use the cable for short-reach 10 Gb/s interconnects within racks or between adjacent racks. Avoid bending below the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius, keep the cable away from sharp edges and maintain proper airflow around network equipment. Verify host compatibility and enable DDM/DOM in supported devices to monitor link health and performance.
