The InLine 19" 19104D foldable wall mounted rack is a compact 4U solution for mounting network and IT equipment on walls. It features an adjustable mounting depth from 240 mm to 400 mm and a durable grey finish. The foldable construction reduces installation footprint and allows easier access to devices when servicing, while the included cover protects installed components and helps maintain a neat appearance in office, server room or telecom alcove environments.

Advantages

The foldable wall-mounted design saves floor space and permits access without disassembly. Adjustable depth accommodates various equipment sizes and cabling needs. A protective cover adds physical protection and improves tidiness. The 4U capacity is suitable for small racks of switches, patch panels or other compact devices, and the grey finish offers a neutral, professional look that integrates into different environments.

How to use

Secure the rack to a suitable load-bearing wall using appropriate fasteners for the wall material and the combined weight of the rack and installed equipment. Adjust the mounting depth between 240 mm and 400 mm to fit the depth of the device and allow room for cabling. Mount devices to the standard 19" rack rails and route cables through the rear or side openings as needed. When not servicing, fold the rack closed if space constraints require it and use the cover to protect equipment from dust and accidental contact.

Recommendations

Ensure wall anchors and screws are rated for at least the total expected load including equipment and cabling. Keep ventilation clear and avoid placing heat-generating devices in enclosures without adequate airflow. For critical equipment, consider securing devices with additional fasteners and verify that cable management prevents strain on connectors.
