Advantages

These dust covers provide a simple mechanical barrier that prevents dust and dirt from accumulating inside RJ45 female ports. How to use

Align the dust cover with the RJ45 female port and gently push it into place until it sits securely over the socket opening. To remove, pull the cover straight out without twisting to avoid stressing the connector. Use as needed to cover unused ports or during storage and transport of network equipment.

Recommendations

Keep covers clean and replace damaged or deformed covers to ensure effective protection. Do not force a cover into a damaged port; inspect the connector before use. Store spare covers in a dry, dust-free environment.
