Intellinet optický patch kábel, OM2, LC/LC, 3 m, oranžový, duplex, multimode, 50/125 µm, LSZH, vlákno, doživotná záruka

The Intellinet Fiber Optic Patch Cable OM2 LC/LC 3m Orange is a multimode LC-to-LC patch cable with a 3 m length and a 50 µm core diameter. Constructed from LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) materials, it supports full-duplex multimode transmission and is intended for reliable, high-speed data links in environments where reduced smoke and no halogen emissions are required. The cable is backed by a lifetime warranty and is suitable for structured cabling, data centres and campus networks.

Advantages

This OM2 multimode fibre cable provides superior transmission distance for multimode applications within its standard specifications and ensures secure signal transport since optical signals inside the fibre cannot be detected remotely without physical access to the fibre itself. Made without metallic components, the LSZH fiber optic cable is tolerant of electromagnetic interference and suitable for installation near power lines or rail infrastructure. The orange jacket and LC/LC connectors make it easy to identify and integrate into multimode systems.

Suitable for

• Short- to medium-range multimode network links (campus, data centre racks)
• Full-duplex connections between network equipment with LC ports
• Installations requiring LSZH materials for reduced smoke and no halogen
• Environments with electromagnetic interference where metallic cables are unsuitable

How to use

Ensure both network devices have matching LC connector ports and support multimode OM2 fibre. Before insertion, inspect connectors for dust or debris and clean with appropriate fibre cleaning tools. Align the LC connector with the device port and insert until it clicks; repeat for the opposite end. Route the cable without sharp bends and secure it to avoid stress on connectors. For duplex operation, keep transmit and receive pairs correctly oriented according to equipment labelling.

Recommendations

Use appropriate fibre management (ducts, trays, and bend-radius guides) to maintain performance. Avoid running the cable alongside high-voltage power conductors where physical damage could occur, and follow local safety codes when installing in public or critical facilities.
