Interný SATA dátový kábel Akasa Proslim 90° konektor, 100 cm

Akasa Proslim internal SATA data cable with a 90° connector and 100 cm length is designed for connecting SATA hard drives and optical drives to motherboard or controller ports inside desktop PCs and servers. The slim profile cable reduces bulk in confined spaces, enabling neater routing behind drive bays and improving internal airflow. The right-angle connector helps when drive ports are positioned close to case panels or other components.

Advantages

The Proslim design provides a low-profile, flexible lead that occupies less space than standard round cables and is easier to route in compact chassis. A 90° connector reduces strain on the cable and the drive’s port when space is limited, and the 100 cm length offers sufficient reach for most mid-tower and full-tower builds. Gold-plated contacts ensure reliable signal transfer and corrosion resistance for consistent SATA data communication.

Suitable for

• Connecting 2.5" and 3.5" SATA hard drives
• Connecting SATA optical drives in desktop PCs and workstations
• Tight cable routing in small form-factor and compact cases
• System upgrades and drive replacements where a right-angle connector is required

Key specifications

• Connector type: SATA data with 90° (right-angle) plug
• Length: 100 cm
• Cable profile: slim/flat for reduced bulk and improved airflow
• Contact finish: gold-plated contacts for reliable signal integrity
• Compatibility: standard SATA interface for HDDs, SSDs and optical drives

How to use

Align the 90° SATA connector with the drive’s data port and insert it gently until it seats; ensure the keyed orientation matches the port. Connect the straight SATA plug to the motherboard or controller's data port, taking care not to force the connectors. Route the slim cable along case edges or behind drive cages to minimize obstruction to cooling fans and other components. Secure the cable with cable ties or clips if needed to prevent movement.

Recommendations

Do not bend the cable sharply at the connector; allow a gentle curve to avoid stressing the cable or port. Keep the cable away from high-temperature components and avoid excessive pulling force when connecting or disconnecting. Use the right-angle end where space is restricted to reduce strain and improve long-term connection reliability.
