Kábel DisplayPort na HDMI ShiverPeaks 10 m samec–samec BS77498-2

The DisplayPort to HDMI Cable ShiverPeaks 10 m Male–Male BS77498-2 is a 10-metre passive cable with a male DisplayPort connector at one end and a male HDMI connector at the other. It is designed to transmit digital video and audio signals from a DisplayPort source to an HDMI display or projector over a long reach, making it suitable for office spaces, conference rooms, classrooms and home entertainment setups where a 10 m connection is required.

Advantages

This 10 m DisplayPort to HDMI cable provides a single-cable solution for carrying video and audio between DisplayPort-equipped devices and HDMI displays. The connectors are designed for standard DisplayPort and HDMI interfaces, and the cable length supports installations that require extended reach without using additional adapters or extenders. The cable is intended for passive direct connection and is compatible with setups where a DisplayPort source can output a signal compatible with HDMI display input.

Suitable for

• Connecting a computer or laptop with DisplayPort output to an HDMI monitor or TV
• Long-reach connections in conference rooms and classrooms
• Setting up projectors in meeting spaces where the source is DisplayPort
• Home entertainment setups that require a 10 m passive cable between source and display

Key specifications

• Cable type: DisplayPort (male) to HDMI (male)
• Length: 10 metres
• Signal type: Digital video and audio transmission
• Connector plating: gold-plated contacts (as specified by manufacturer notes)
• Cable design: passive single-cable connection for direct DisplayPort-to-HDMI link

How to use

Connect the DisplayPort male connector to the DisplayPort output on your source device and insert the HDMI male connector into the HDMI input of the display or projector. Ensure both devices are powered and set the display to the correct HDMI input. If the DisplayPort source supports audio output over DisplayPort, audio will be carried to the HDMI display. For best results, confirm that the source device can output a signal compatible with the HDMI display over a passive DisplayPort-to-HDMI connection.

Recommendations

Position the cable to avoid sharp bends and strain at the connector ends, route it away from high-power electrical sources to reduce potential interference, and secure excess length to prevent tripping hazards. If you experience signal limitations at higher resolutions, verify source output settings and display capabilities, since passive adapters and cables depend on source compatibility for HDMI signal output.
