Káblový spoj RJ-12 ShiverPeaks BS71220-6 čierna

The ShiverPeaks BS71220-6 is a black RJ-12 female-to-female wire connector designed to link two RJ-12 terminated cables securely. Its compact inline body provides a low-profile connection point suitable for telephone and low-voltage data wiring where a simple coupler is required. Supplied as a single unit, the connector combines a durable housing with internal contacts engineered to maintain consistent electrical contact between mating plugs.

Advantages

This RJ-12 connector offers a compact form factor that saves space in tight cable runs and wall-cabinet installations. The black housing provides a discreet appearance and resists visible dirt and wear. Internally plated contacts ensure stable signal transmission and reduce the risk of intermittent connections. The female-to-female configuration allows quick extension or joining of existing RJ-12 patch cords without re-termination.

Suitable for

• Extending or joining telephone handset and landline cables
• Connecting modular RJ-12 sensor or control wiring in low-voltage systems
• Temporary or permanent inline repairs of RJ-12 patch cords
• Compact installations in communication cabinets, desks, or wall plates

Key specifications

• Connector type: RJ-12 female-to-female coupler
• Color: black
• Number of positions: 6-position interface compatible with 6P6C plugs
• Housing: compact inline plastic body for low-profile installation
• Contact material: metal contacts designed for reliable electrical conduction
• Pack quantity: 1 connector per package

How to use

To use the connector, insert an RJ-12 terminated plug from the first cable into one end of the coupler and insert the plug from the second cable into the opposite end until each click into place. Ensure both plugs are fully seated to achieve proper contact. The connector requires no tools for assembly and can be used as a temporary join or permanent inline connection. Verify signal continuity and correct wiring after installation before placing the wiring back into service.

Recommendations

Use this connector in dry, indoor environments and avoid exposing it to excessive mechanical strain or moisture. For critical or long-term installations, confirm that cable types and pinouts match on both sides to prevent wiring mismatches. If frequent reconnections are expected, inspect contacts periodically for wear and replace the connector if connection stability degrades.
