Keystone spojka RJ-45 nechránená CAT5E ACT SD5009

The ACT Keystone Coupler RJ-45 unshielded CAT5E (SD5009) is a compact inline adapter with two female RJ45 ports designed to connect or extend Ethernet cables without additional tools. Finished in white, the unshielded CAT5E coupler supports standard twisted-pair cabling and provides a simple, low-profile solution for joining network segments in residential or small office installations.

Advantages

This unshielded keystone coupler offers straightforward plug-and-play operation, enabling quick extension or reconnection of Ethernet runs. Its keystone form factor fits standard wall plates and patch panels, allowing neat, modular installations. The white housing maintains a discreet appearance in most interior settings while providing reliable physical mating between RJ45 connectors for CAT5E performance.

Suitable for

• Extending an Ethernet cable between two RJ45-terminated patch cords
• Filling a keystone opening in wall plates or surface-mount boxes
• Temporary network repairs or quick re-routing of cabling
• Small office and home network wiring where CAT5E performance is sufficient

Key specifications

• Connector type: RJ45 female to RJ45 female
• Cabling standard: Unshielded CAT5E (suitable for 100BASE-TX and typical Gigabit over short runs when cable quality permits)
• Form factor: Keystone-compatible module for standard wall plates and patch panels
• Colour: White
• Mounting: Snap-in keystone mounting

How to use

Insert the keystone coupler into a compatible wall plate or patch panel cutout until it snaps into place, or use it as a free inline adapter by aligning and pushing two RJ45 male connectors into the female ports. Ensure both cables are fully seated to establish a reliable connection. For temporary extensions, connect one terminated cable to each side of the coupler; for permanent installations, mount the module in a wall plate and route cables through the installation area before connecting.

Recommendations

Use the coupler with properly terminated CAT5E or better cables and avoid excessive bending or tension at connection points. Because this is an unshielded coupler, maintain appropriate separation from strong sources of electromagnetic interference for best signal integrity. For critical or long-distance Gigabit links, consider using continuous certified cable runs or shielded components as required.
