Konektor kábla RJ-45 ShiverPeaks BS08-45010 strieborný konektor samec

The ShiverPeaks BS08-45010 Silver Male RJ-45 wire connector is a single, silver-plated plug designed for terminating Cat5e/Cat6 network cables into an RJ-45 male connection. Sold individually, this connector is intended for use where a durable metallic finish and standard eight-pin termination are required for reliable Ethernet connectivity. The metal housing provides mechanical stability and corrosion resistance while maintaining compatibility with typical patch cables and network devices.

Advantages

This silver RJ-45 connector offers a robust metal shell that improves mechanical strength compared with plastic alternatives and helps protect the contact area from environmental wear. The eight-contact termination ensures correct signal alignment for standard Ethernet protocols. Its single-piece sale format allows purchasing only the quantity needed for repairs or custom cable assemblies.

Suitable for

• Repairing damaged RJ-45 male ends on network patch cables
• Crimping custom-length Ethernet cables for LAN installations
• Prototyping and small-scale networking projects requiring individual connectors
• Replacing worn or corroded metal RJ-45 plugs in commercial or industrial settings

Key specifications

• Connector type: RJ-45 male
• Finish: silver plated metal housing
• Contact arrangement: 8-position, 8-contact (8P8C)
• Compatible cable categories: Cat5e and Cat6 (standard 8P8C termination)
• Packaging: sold individually

How to use

Strip the cable jacket to expose the four twisted pairs to the length recommended for the connector. Untwist and align wires according to the chosen wiring standard (T568A or T568B), then insert the wires fully into the connector so each conductor seats under its respective contact. Use an appropriate crimping tool designed for metal RJ-45 plugs to secure the contacts and housing. Verify continuity and correct pair mapping with a cable tester before deploying the cable in a live network.

Recommendations

Use a crimping tool rated for metal RJ-45 plugs to avoid damage to the connector and ensure reliable contact pressure. For environments with potential corrosion or high wear, select silver-plated metal connectors and verify connections with a cable tester after installation.
