Place M.2 SSDs in the tray in the appropriate mounting positions for 2280/2260/2242/2230, secure them as required, then slide the tray into the rack until fully inserted. Use the key lock to prevent unauthorised removal. To exchange an SSD, unlock and pull out the tray using the quick-change mechanism, replace the drive, and reinsert the tray until it seats fully.

Recommendations

Ensure the tray is fully inserted before powering the system; incomplete insertion may prevent the SSD from being detected. Handle M.2 SSDs with care to avoid static damage and follow your motherboard or enclosure documentation for proper installation and screw torque.
