Krytka proti prachu BlueOptics BODCLCD 10 ks LC čierna

The BlueOptics BODCLCD dust cover pack contains 10 black dust caps designed specifically for LC duplex ports. These caps protect optical transceiver ports and LC connectors from dust, dirt and other contaminants that can impair signal quality and shorten the service life of network equipment. The compact design fits standard LC ports and provides a simple protective barrier during storage, transport or maintenance.

Advantages

BlueOptics dust covers are made to fit LC duplex transceivers securely and help prevent contamination of sensitive optical components such as ferrules and lasers. Supplied in a pack of 10, the caps allow consistent protection for multiple connectors at once. The black colour offers a neutral, unobtrusive appearance while remaining practical for routine use in racks, patch panels and storage boxes.

Suitable for

• Protecting LC duplex ports on optical transceivers and patch panels
• Short-term storage of spare transceivers and fiber adapters
• Transportation of networking equipment to prevent ingress of dust
• Maintenance and repair work where connectors are temporarily disconnected

Key specifications

• Connector type compatibility: LC duplex ports
• Quantity in pack: 10 pieces
• Colour: black
• Primary function: dust and contaminant protection for optical connectors

How to use

Push each dust cap gently onto the LC duplex port or connector until it seats securely. Ensure the mating surface is clean before applying the cap to avoid trapping particles. Remove the cap by pulling it straight off when the connector needs to be used, and replace it immediately after disconnecting to maintain protection. Store unused caps in a clean, dry place to preserve their condition.

Recommendations

For optimal protection, always cap connectors when they are not in active use and handle transceivers by their bodies rather than the connector end. Use the caps included in the 10-piece pack to keep spare ports and transceivers protected during storage and transport.
