LAN patch kábel Extralink Cat5e FTP 5 m, medený krútený pár, RJ-45–RJ-45, čierny

Extralink LAN patchcord Cat5e FTP, 5 m is a shielded Ethernet patch cable designed for structured cabling and direct device connections. The cable uses four twisted copper pairs with F/UTP (FTP) shielding and RJ-45 connectors on both ends, providing Cat5e performance for home and office LAN setups. The black, flexible jacket and gold-plated screened RJ-45 plugs ensure reliable contact and simplified installation for switches, routers, patch panels and endpoints where shielded cabling is required.

Advantages

This Cat5e FTP patchcord offers improved protection against electromagnetic interference thanks to the foil shielding, while the pure copper conductors maintain consistent signal transmission and enable Power over Ethernet (PoE) operation. The screened, gold-plated RJ-45 connectors reduce oxidation and ensure low contact resistance. The 5 m length balances reach and cable management in racks or desktop environments, and the cable’s flexibility simplifies routing in confined spaces.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches and routers within a local network
• Patch panel to active device links in structured cabling
• Connecting computers, VoIP phones and IP cameras supporting PoE
• Short to medium runs in office racks, server rooms and home LANs

Key specifications

• Category: Cat5e (FTP / F/UTP)
• Conductor: four twisted pairs, pure copper
• Shielding: foil shield around all pairs (FTP / F/UTP)
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45, screened, gold-plated contacts
• Length: 5 m
• Colour: black
• Supports Power over Ethernet (PoE)

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the port of a switch, router, patch panel or network device and the other end into the destination device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference; the foil shielding will reduce interference but good separation from power cabling is recommended. Verify link lights on devices to confirm a successful connection and, if required, test the link speed and continuity with a network cable tester.

Recommendations

For best results, use the Extralink Cat5e FTP patchcord for indoor, shielded network installations where EMI protection and PoE capability are needed. Avoid excessive bending radii and mechanical strain; secure the cable with Velcro or cable management accessories rather than tight zip ties.
