LANBERG sieťový kábel Cat6 F/UTP (FTP) 5 m, RJ-45–RJ-45, sivý

LANBERG networking cable Cat6 F/UTP (FTP) 5 m, RJ-45–RJ-45, grey is a shielded straight-through Category 6 patch cable designed for short connections in wired Ethernet networks. The 5 m length and RJ-45 to RJ-45 terminations make it suitable for linking computers, network switches, routers and patch panels within home and office environments. The foil shielding (F/UTP) reduces electromagnetic interference from nearby electrical equipment and cabling, helping to maintain signal integrity for typical Cat6 applications.

Advantages

The cable provides Category 6 performance in a compact, pre-terminated form factor with standardized RJ-45 connectors at both ends. Foil shielding around the twisted pairs offers improved protection against external EMI compared to unshielded alternatives, while the 5 m length balances reach and minimal excess slack for tidy installations. The grey outer jacket gives a neutral appearance suitable for both visible and concealed routing.

How to use

Inspect both RJ-45 connectors and the cable jacket for visible damage before use. Insert one RJ-45 plug into the network port of a computer, switch or router and the other plug into the corresponding port on the destination device or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully seated until the latch clicks. For best performance, avoid sharp bends near the connectors and keep the cable separated from high-voltage power lines or strong EMI sources where possible.

Recommendations

For consistent Category 6 performance, use this LANBERG Cat6 F/UTP cable for links up to 5 m in length and pair it with properly rated network ports and infrastructure; maintain gentle bend radii and avoid kinking or crushing the cable to preserve shielding effectiveness and signal quality.
