Lenovo 3m LC-LC OM3 InfiniBand/optický kábel

The Lenovo 3m LC-LC OM3 fibre optic cable is a 3-metre multimode cable with LC connectors on both ends, designed for high-speed data transmission in network and data centre environments. Built to minimise signal loss and provide reliable connectivity, this OM3-rated cable supports applications that require higher bandwidth over short to medium distances.

Advantages

The cable offers LC-to-LC connectivity with OM3 multimode specification, providing improved bandwidth and reduced attenuation compared with lower-grade multimode fibres. Its 3 m length suits typical rack-to-rack and equipment-to-equipment connections, and the construction is engineered for durability and stable signal performance.

Suitable for

• Data centre interconnects
• Server-to-switch and switch-to-switch links
• High-bandwidth multimode network links
• Short to medium distance fibre runs within network cabinets

Key specifications

How to use

Inspect connectors and ports for dust or damage before installation. Align each LC connector with the corresponding LC port and insert until it clicks. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and tight cable ties; maintain the minimum bend radius recommended for multimode fibre. For best signal integrity, keep dust caps on unused ports and consider cleaning connectors with appropriate fibre cleaning tools prior to mating.

Recommendations

Use this OM3 LC-LC cable for short to medium multimode links in racks and patch panels. Avoid repeated flexing at connector ends and store coiled loosely when not in use. For longer distances or single-mode requirements, choose a cable with the appropriate fibre specification.
