Lindy 1.0m OM3 LC - ST duplexný InfiniBand/optický kábel 1 m tyrkysový

The Lindy 1.0m OM3 LC - ST Duplex fibre optic cable is a 1.0 metre multimode patch cable designed for high-speed data transmission in structured cabling and network environments. It pairs an LC connector on one end with an ST connector on the other in a duplex configuration and uses OM3 fibre with a 50 µm core diameter to support reliable links over short to medium distances, typical for data centre and enterprise LAN connections.

Advantages

This fibre optic cable provides low attenuation and consistent modal bandwidth thanks to OM3 multimode fibre, enabling stable throughput for Gigabit and 10 Gigabit Ethernet applications. The duplex LC–ST pairing offers compatibility with mixed-connector equipment, reducing the need for additional adapters. Its 1.0 m length is suitable for patching between adjacent devices or within patch panels while maintaining neat cable management.

Suitable for

• Interconnecting switches, transceivers and patch panels in data centres
• Short to medium multimode links in enterprise LANs
• Connecting network equipment with LC and ST ports or transceiver modules
• Temporary setup and testing of multimode fibre links

Key specifications

• Length: 1.0 metre
• Fibre type: OM3 multimode
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Connector A: LC (duplex)
• Connector B: ST (duplex)
• Duplex configuration: yes
• Typical applications: Gigabit Ethernet, 10 Gigabit Ethernet over multimode

How to use

Before installation, inspect connector endfaces for dust or contamination and clean with an appropriate fibre optic cleaning tool if necessary. Align the LC and ST connectors with their respective ports and insert them gently until secure; LC connectors will click into place while ST connectors use a bayonet-style coupling. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and maintain the minimum bend radius specified for multimode fibre. For patch panel installations, label both ends to match port assignments and secure the cable to prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

Maintain proper handling and cleaning routines: keep connector endfaces covered when not in use, avoid pulling the cable by the connectors, and observe minimum bend radius to preserve optical performance. Use this 1.0 m OM3 LC–ST duplex cable for short patching runs and mixed-connector environments where LC-to-ST connectivity is required.
