Lindy 10m OM3 LC - ST duplexný InfiniBand/optický kábel tyrkysový

The Lindy 10m OM3 LC - ST Duplex fibre optic cable is a 10-metre multimode jumper designed for high-speed data transmission in network and data centre environments. Featuring OM3 multimode fibres with a 50 µm core diameter, the cable supports full-duplex communication via LC connector on one end and ST connector on the other. The cable jacket is turquoise for easy identification in bundled installations and is intended for short to medium reach connections where multimode OM3 performance is required.

Advantages

This LC–ST duplex cable combines OM3 multimode performance with a standardized connector pair to provide stable, low-loss optical links suitable for 10 Gigabit Ethernet and similar applications. The 50 µm core supports reliable modal bandwidth for multimode signalling and the duplex configuration enables simultaneous send and receive channels. The turquoise jacket improves visual management, while the 10 m length reduces the need for intermediate patching in many rack and cabinet layouts.

Suitable for

• 10 Gigabit Ethernet links within data centres and server rooms
• Inter-rack and rack-to-equipment multimode connections
• Fiber patch panel to network switch or transceiver connections
• Short- to medium-distance multimode fibre runs in LANs

Key specifications

• Length: 10 m
• Fiber type: OM3 multimode
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Connector A: LC duplex
• Connector B: ST
• Duplex configuration for full-duplex transmission
• Jacket colour: turquoise

How to use

Route the cable carefully through cable management channels or cable trays to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension. Insert the LC duplex connector into the corresponding LC port and the ST connector into the matching ST socket; ensure connectors are clean and free of dust before mating. Secure the cable along its run with appropriate Velcro straps or cable ties, leaving service loops where necessary for future moves or maintenance. Test the optical link after installation using appropriate fibre testing equipment to verify insertion loss and continuity.

Recommendations

Use this OM3 LC–ST duplex cable for multimode optical links up to the supported reach for OM3 standard performance. Maintain bend radius recommendations from fibre best practices, keep connectors capped when not in use, and perform routine cleaning of connector endfaces to preserve signal quality.
