Lindy 1m Cat.6A S/FTP Locking sieťový kábel, sivý

The Lindy Cat.6A Locking Network Cable is a Cat6a S/FTP grey patch cable with RJ-45 connectors and an integrated security lock to prevent accidental or unauthorized removal. It supports frequencies up to 500 MHz and is designed for Ethernet standards up to 10GBase-T. The cable uses an overall braided shield and foil shielding on each pair (S/FTP), gold-plated contacts, a snagless strain relief and a halogen-free (LSZH) outer sheath. Available in multiple lengths, this 1 m variant offers a balance of flexibility and signal integrity for structured cabling in home and office environments.

Advantages

The locking RJ-45 plug provides physical security by requiring the supplied key for removal, reducing the risk of tampering or accidental disconnection. S/FTP construction with a braided overall shield and foil-paired shields minimises electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, supporting reliable 10 Gigabit Ethernet performance up to 500 MHz. Gold-plated contacts increase corrosion resistance and maintain stable connections over time, while the snagless strain relief protects the connector latch during installation. The LSZH jacket lowers smoke and toxic gas emissions, making the cable suitable for public spaces.

Suitable for

• High-speed wired network links up to 10 GBase-T
• Data centres, server racks and network closets
• Office and home network connections where physical cable security is required
• Environments requiring low-smoke, halogen-free cabling

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat.6A (S/FTP)
• Bandwidth: up to 500 MHz
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45, locking plug (removable with supplied key)
• Length: 1 m
• Shielding: braid overall + foil per pair (S/FTP)
• Contacts: gold-plated
• Sheath: LSZH (halogen-free)
• Standards: manufactured and tested to ISO/IEC 11801

How to use

Insert the locking RJ-45 plug into the corresponding RJ-45 socket until the lock engages. To detach the cable, use the supplied security key to unlock the plug and then withdraw the connector. During installation, avoid sharp bends and maintain appropriate bend radius for Cat6A cables to preserve signal performance. Route the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources where possible to reduce interference.

Recommendations

Use this Lindy Cat.6A RJ-45 locking cable for critical network links where both 10 GBase-T performance and physical cable security are required; select the appropriate length for your rack or patch-panel layout and keep the supplied key in a secure location to control access.
