Lindy 46365 InfiniBand/sklenené vlákno kábel 15 m LC SC ružový

The Lindy 46365 15 m OM4 fibre optic cable with LC to SC connectors is designed for high-speed optical data transmission over short to medium distances. With a 50 µm multimode core and OM4 specification, the cable supports enhanced bandwidth for modern network equipment. The cable's 15 metre length and pink jacket provide visibility and routing convenience in crowded installations while maintaining the physical and optical characteristics required for reliable links between switches, transceivers and patch panels.

Advantages

This LC–SC fibre optic cable is built to OM4 multimode standards, offering low attenuation and optimized modal bandwidth for high data rates. The 50 µm core diameter is compatible with standard multimode transceivers and ensures predictable optical performance. The 15 m length gives flexibility for rack-to-rack or room-to-room connections without additional splicing. The pink outer jacket improves traceability and identification in cabling environments where colour coding simplifies maintenance.

Suitable for

• Data centre patching between switches, transceivers and patch panels
• Server room and enterprise network connectivity
• Multimode fibre links for short-reach high-bandwidth applications
• Organised cable routing where colour identification is required

Key specifications

• Length: 15 m
• Fibre type: OM4 multimode
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Connectors: LC (one end) to SC (other end)
• Jacket colour: pink
• Suitable for short to medium reach multimode applications

How to use

Inspect connector end-faces for cleanliness before installation and use appropriate fibre cleaning tools if needed. Route the cable following bend-radius recommendations for multimode fibre to avoid increased attenuation; avoid sharp bends and excessive tensile loads during installation. Plug the LC connector into LC ports and the SC connector into SC ports or adapters, ensuring secure seating. Test the link with suitable optical test equipment to verify insertion loss and continuity after installation.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep connectors capped when not in use, use colour-coded cable management to reduce lookup time, and maintain bend radii greater than the minimum specified for OM4 multimode cables. Regular visual inspections and cleaning of connector end-faces will prolong reliable operation in data centre and enterprise environments.
