Its medium-security rating and straightforward operation make it suitable for both outdoor and indoor applications where reliable, easy-to-use protection is needed.

Advantages

The laminated steel construction provides enhanced durability against mechanical damage and frequent handling while keeping the lock compact and manageable. A 64 mm body offers a balance between strength and accessibility, allowing it to fit a wide range of hasps and staple attachments. The key-operated mechanism delivers controlled access without electronic components, reducing maintenance and extending service life. Corrosion-resistant components and a robust shackle design contribute to consistent performance in varied environments.

Suitable for

• Securing garden gates and exterior fences
• Locking outdoor and indoor storage sheds
• Protecting lockers, cabinets and tool chests
• Temporary site storage and utility boxes

Key specifications

• Body material: laminated steel
• Body width: 64 mm
• Operation: key-operated cylinder
• Shackle design: hardened shackle for wear resistance
• Intended use: indoor and outdoor medium-security applications

How to use

Insert the key fully into the cylinder and turn to retract or extend the shackle. Position the shackle through the hasp, staple or item to be secured, then rotate the key to lock the shackle in place and remove the key. Ensure the shackle seats fully into the body before removing the key. For opening, insert the matching key, turn to release the shackle and remove the padlock. Keep keys in a safe and identifiable place and use only the original key to avoid cylinder damage.

Recommendations

For prolonged outdoor use, periodically inspect the lock for corrosion or debris and apply a silicone-based lubricant to the shackle and keyway as part of routine maintenance. Select a mounting position that minimizes direct exposure to heavy rain and allows the shackle to close fully. Replace the padlock if the locking action becomes stiff or if components show significant wear.
