METZ CONNECT 130845B066-E 20m Cat6a S/FTP sieťový kábel červený

For high-density 10 Gigabit Ethernet links, this Cat6a patch cable delivers 500 MHz bandwidth over a full 20-meter run. The S/FTP shielding with individually foil-wrapped pairs and an overall braid suppresses alien crosstalk, making it a reliable backbone for data centers, server rooms, and structured cabling systems. The red LSZH jacket stands out for easy identification while meeting strict fire safety requirements.

Advantages

Gold-plated RJ45 connectors resist corrosion and maintain signal integrity over repeated mating cycles. Stranded 26/7 AWG copper conductors provide flexibility without sacrificing performance, and the LSZH jacket emits low smoke and zero halogens in case of fire. The T568B wiring scheme ensures compatibility with standard network equipment.

Suitable for

• 10GBASE-T Ethernet networks requiring full 20 m reach
• Data centers with high port density and EMI concerns
• Industrial or public buildings where LSZH cabling is mandated
• PoE applications up to 100 W (PoE++) with proper heat dissipation

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6a (ISO/IEC 11801, EN 50173, TIA/EIA-568-C.2)
• Shielding: S/FTP (S-STP) – foil per pair plus overall braid
• Length: 20 m
• Conductor: Bare copper, AWG 26/7 stranded
• Jacket: LSZH, red, outer diameter approx. 6.2 mm
• Bandwidth: 500 MHz, supports 10 Gbps
• Connectors: RJ45 male to RJ45 male, gold-plated contacts

Recommendations

For maximum performance, avoid sharp bends and maintain the minimum bend radius of 4 times the cable diameter. Use with shielded patch panels and grounded equipment to fully benefit from the S/FTP shielding. Test the link with a Cat6a certifier to ensure compliance with 10GBASE-T standards.
