Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks 08-64056 CAT6 S/FTP PIMF, 4-párový, tienený krútený párový kábel

ShiverPeaks 08-64056 CAT6 S/FTP PIMF network cable is a four-pair, shielded twisted pair cable engineered for gigabit Ethernet and structured cabling. The S/FTP construction features an overall screen with foil-wrapped individual pairs, providing pair-level shielding that reduces pair-to-pair crosstalk and protects signals from external electromagnetic interference. This cable is intended for fixed LAN installations, horizontal cabling and connections between patch panels, switches and wall outlets in offices and data rooms.

Advantages

The pair-level foil shielding combined with an overall screen delivers improved signal integrity and lower error rates in environments with significant electromagnetic noise. The CAT6 performance supports gigabit speeds and reliable data transmission up to the standard distance for copper Ethernet runs. Built to industry cabling practices, the cable’s construction facilitates consistent impedance and reduced NEXT/ALI effects, assisting with predictable network performance in structured cabling systems.

Suitable for

• Gigabit Ethernet connections in offices and server rooms
• Horizontal cabling between patch panels and wall outlets
• LAN backbone segments requiring additional shielding
• Environments with potential electromagnetic interference from nearby equipment

Key specifications

• Cable category: CAT6 suitable for gigabit Ethernet
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall screen with foil-wrapped individual pairs, pair-level shielding)
• Conductor pairs: 4 twisted pairs
• Typical use: structured cabling, horizontal runs, patching
• Impedance and performance: manufactured to meet CAT6 electrical characteristics for reduced crosstalk and signal loss

How to use

Install the cable following standard structured cabling procedures: measure and route the cable along racks, trays or conduits avoiding sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic noise. Terminate both ends with compatible RJ45 connectors or pre-terminated plug types rated for CAT6 and shielded connections, ensuring the shield is properly bonded to ground at patch panels or outlets. Test continuity, pair mapping and performance using a network cable tester or certification tool to verify gigabit-level link integrity before putting the connection into production.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, maintain bend radii recommended for CAT6 cabling, avoid running the cable parallel to high-voltage power lines, and ensure shield continuity by grounding shielded connectors and patch panels. Use appropriate cable management and labeling for long-term maintenance and troubleshooting.
